" Great House," the " Pir Aa," while we recall
the familiar title which the Pharaohs thence
derived, and as we contemplate the heaven
reflected in the blue waters of the river as it
Hows without, and its image masonically ex-
pressed in the path within, "the disc" seems
lifted " from the tomb," and we gaze upon the
unseen world. Egypt, for so many centuries
the land of the buried, has suddenly become
the land of the risen dead. And the message
which the long-silenced voice proclaims as
