the " Chamber of the Waters of Heaven"
flows down the torrent of the " Celestial Nile "
(ex.), and mingles at his side with the stream
from the " Chamber of the Birthplace of the
Gods"—that stream which waters the fields
of Aahlu, the home of the regenerate. And
high above, far as his quickened eyes can
pierce, are assembled the bright companies of
starry spirits from every [quarter (cxi.-cxiv.)
to assist at his victory, his judgment, and his
coronation. In the memory of that unfading
vision, and the strength of those protecting
spirits, the Initiate enters and comes forth
(cxvi.) from the subterranean Chamber of the
Fiery Ordeal.
