the vallum traverses the farm of
Eastermains, about three-quarters of
a mile east of Kirkintilloch. It was at
one time in the possession of the late
John Buchanan, Western Bank of
Scotland, Glasgow, and is now in
the Himterian Museum. Stuart, 320,
