Many of the numbers above given include several different documents;
so a summary of the results of the distribution may be of interest.
Out of 197 documents, great and small, the British Museum receives
128, the Bodleian 55, and Dublin 14. The Museum obtains the priceless
Phssdo and Antiope papyri, the Homer fragment, and nearly all the
unknown literary scraps, together with a large number of the non-
literary documents. Oxford has the Laches MS. and a good collection
of business papers ; Dublin, in addition to the honour of the first
publication, a small but interesting group of documents. The
unpublished fragments of the Petrie collection, with a few exceptions,
