vasque est soutenue non-seulement par trois pieds en
'0rme do gaine, ornés de griffes à la base et de chapiteaux au
"Dmet, mais elle est portée encore au milieu par un puissant
•lustre cannelé. — Le socle de ce petit édicule est fortement
^hancré, ce qui contribue pour beaucoup à son élégance. — La
Vasquc, ornée de godrons, montre aussi trois mufles de lion
°ntre chacun des pilastres. — Les derniers sont ornés de feuil-

The bowl notonly stands upon three scabellated pillars orna-
mented with claws at tbe base and capitals at the summit, bu
rests as well in its central part upon a powerfull and fluted
baluster.
The base of this small monument is hollovved out so as to give
it a great lightness.
The bowl shows lions'heads between each pilaster.
Thèse are decorated with birds and foliage.
The design of the pillars is very questionable.
