XXXIV. PAROS (DELION)
The Delion on Paros lies on the west coast north of the modern town of Paroikia,
and an hour's walk away. The Sanctuary was dedicated to Apollo, Artemis and Leto.
It consisted of a temenos wall, a rock altar and a small temple in antis in the north-west
corner.
Paros enjoyed an utterly undistinguished history, and these few objects are the only
trace we have of any outside connection at all.
