Le mot sanitu, ianitum, sanittm, « fois », semble être le féminin singulier de ce
pronom.

donner môme à l'état de simples fragments, à cause de la précision avec laquelle les faits y sont exposés.
Ce qui a trait au verbe présente moins d'intérêt : M. Amiaud renvoyait pour cette partie de son cours à
la Grammaire de Delitzsch, de laquelle il ne s'écartait que sur quelques points secondaires. — V. S.

% [II. — The Tomb of t *4 at Bersheh.
Tins tomb lies a few paces to the South-East of Unit of the Colossus, and bas been
eut out of tlie upper slope of the rock. Consequently its roof is below the level of the
floor of the Colossus-Tomb. The entrance to it is on the South Side. The tomb and door
are low, I think only about fîve feet in heighth. On the lintel, outside, are the remains
of an inscription. Until last winter, the tomb was in an almost perfect condition, only a
few of the hieroglyphics on the West wall being injured. The copies of the text were
made six years ago : the parts which bave been destroyed being between brackets, it is
easy to see how little is now left of what I saw in my first journeys up the Nile.
EastWall. — A long horizontal line of hieroglyphics runs in the upper part of
this wall, near the ceiling ':
Underneath, the costumary list of offerings, disposed in four registers, thus :
I and III contain the names
of the offerings in seven différent
houses; II and IV are bands of
seven liuman fi-
gures, kneeling
and holding
