Our Games Field.
The Games Club Committee wish us to inform our
readers and, more particularly, all those who so kindly
answered to their appeal for funds to make essential
improvements to our playing fields, that three full sized
lawn tennis courts are now very nearly finished. So
we, in the future, no longer need make use of, or sub-
scribe to the Town lawn tennis courts, but can play in
a much more recherche way on our own courts, without
having to wait for an hour or so until a court should
be free, owing to the large number of members of the
Town Club. We publish below a list of further sub-
scribers, to all of whom we tender our most grateful
thanks, trusting that next year we shall be able to carry
out the rest of our scheme by adding a track and en-
larging the Pavilion to double its size.
