old brown velvet cap with a lion embroidered on front
in silver. While we think that we can probably get
him this old cap still, we had, of course, to inform him
that the brown cap had been replaced by a blue one
a good many years ago.

Dr. Wilmon W. Leach, also quite one of the ear-
liest Pupils of the College (1887), is now Physician in
Charge of the State Penitentiary for the Eastern district
of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He has shewn his interest in
his old School by sending us again, as he has done for
many years in the past, the Annual Report of the in-

Our heartiest congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. C. E.
Davis, Hamburg, on the birth of a little Daughter.

was married in St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, to
Mrs. Guy Hardy, widow of Mr. Guy Charles Hardy, of
Danehurst, Uckfield, and youngest daughter of the late
Sir Spencer Maryon-Wilson, Bart."

passed his retention Examinations for the Police and that

letter he wrote to us from Rawal Pindi, dated March
8th, he says: "In December I was on duty in the Prince
of Wales's Camp in Pindi and was placed on escort
duty with the royal carriage, when troops from Northern
India, numbering over 50 000, attended the royal review
held here, amongst whom, of course, the ubiquitous
Alt-Heidelberger was well represented. I have met
three in Pindi alone — Wood, Willis, and Wright."

We are very sorry to hear that H. A. Waring,
who held a very good position in the Indian Police
Service and who only was married in September last,
