Spanish, Fifteenth Century
Cruciform orphreys embroidered in colored silks; depicting subject at
centre, of cruciform “The Birth of Christ,” on the arms and in the
vertical panel with figures of pairs of saints. On contemporary cut
and uncut Gothic green velvet, patterned in formal floral design.
