Les tons de ce vitrail sont doux et sans vigueur. On ne sait
plus, à cette époque, ni en Flandre ni ailleurs, fabriquer des
vitraux éclatants comme nous en ont laissé les xue et xin" siè-
cles.
Le chiffre qui se voit au sommet dans un caitouche est sans
doute celui du donateur.

Flanders as elsewhere, at that epoch, they had unlearnt how
to produce shining stained-glasses such as the xnth. and
xuith. centuries havo left us.
The cipher seen at the top in a cartouch is probably that of
the donor.
