a Partie inférieure de l'horloge, le socle posant sur dos
Briffes, est orné d'ornements évidés par place : les rouages sont

le se dressent huit petites cariatides à gaines. Sur cellcs-
P°se la plate-forme où est tracé le cadran. Des dauphins sup-
portent une petite boîte à couvercle ajouré, qui termine cet objet,

The lower part of the clock, tho stand resting on claws, is
decorated here and there with scooped out ornaments : the 1110-
vement is protected from dust by a cylindrical glass against
which stand cight small terminal caryatides. On thèse rest
the platform on which the dial is traced. Dolphins support a
small box with an open-work lid, which complotes this curious
rather than beautiful work of art.
