Human figures areexcluded from the ornamentation of tbis
altogether plain-shaped casket. Animais and birds amidst a
running foliated ornament, are the only cléments from which
sculpture lias borrowed the décoration.
The copper lock is ornameiited with freehandled incised
work. The sculpture, rather rounded wants of niodel-
ling.
