The clearest cases are these :

(TTovoevTL Kari<f>0LTO ttot/xuii. 77 (Att. iii).
'EinSavpoL det pl-ev av&pwv, xcvil, 1. 23 (Epid. iii).
Trapira^t iroXrji Avxovpyos. xcvii- ]. 71 (Epid. iii).
f3\a<TTOvcra yovuldL @6avTO<s. cxl (Cos iii—ii).

KaAAcoyos virep, 4>l\"AttoX.\ov. cxu (Delos, unknown).
too" C7ro(t)c6 'l7r(7r)oo-[rpa]To(s) <rrjp.a. 8 (Att. vi).1

[<£iA.o]v rt cf>(\oi<Ti TTpoaeivaL, 65 (Att. iv—ii).'J
ov[k £]v tis a[p]i[9]p.ijcruev, 926 (Hermione iii).
ju.7; (roi T15 l^is aAiVXai'Kros, 1033 (Att. iii).
T010V vv ETracraro XtyeZV (?), cxxxiii (vase vi).

Ttp.7] Sc Kacrtyv^Taio-tv, 82 (Att. iv).
TTatTiv Se Oavovcra iroduvrj. 45 (Att. iv—iii).

£X#pa Se <i>l\oi<Ti ytvoLTo. 1136 (Att. iii—ii).
puipr/v 8e ^epalv [e]7r[e]8[ei]£[av], 941 (Att. iii).

I add further two verses :

ixaK(lpe<j<TLv es ovpavov evpvv, xcvil, 1. 13 (Epid. iii) ;
Ai-jrapos Se to /c[a8jos oVto-cra), xlviii (Chalcis Mac.) ;

which have in reality the same rhythm, as the break after ts and to is
so slight. In the first case the poet might have written p.o.Kape<T<r ds.

Uncertain cases are the following. In xlix (Ceos vi) Kirchhoff
restores <prjpSiv [Se p.c]p.a6ra <j>v\a. In lxxiv (Cypriote) we have
a{v)6pu>iTC OeSii dX(\)' eVux' a KT)p (a-to-ro-pe-te-o-i-a-le-tu-ka-ke-re) :
Deecke assumes 'XX'; but perhaps 9cwi is shortened. Dittenberger's
emendation of the unmetrical verse 778 (see p. 46) gives "AttoXAo^
vl6i Qpaa-vprjSco's, but Herwerden's reading is more probable. Finally,
the difficult verse 760 may be read Aiaycvr][s]+avt6r)k (the stone
dvidrjKev) Aicr(T)(y\(\)ov vv^ K£</>[a]A^os. avoiding the hardly credible
diaeresis 'Aio-o-^vAod. The name Aio-^fAAos occurs in 936 (Rohl,
IGA, n. 37).

1 Yet see p. 79 (crasis).

2 Here, as everywhere else, I follow the principle that there is no caesura
before an enclitic, nor before y.iv and 5e.
