de Vyenna Cardinalis.”
Inc. Vidit jacob in sompnis scalam stantem super
terrain.
Expl. ad quam eternitatem nos perducat Jesus, qui
precioso sanguine nos redemit.
On fol. 13, Cap. v ends in its middle, followed by Cap.
vii. At end of volume (in the same hand) the
rest of Cap. v and all Cap. vi is given, with this
heading : Hoc quod sequitur deficit in quinto
capitulo.

Old binding, with two clasps. Title on back Epist. Pauli
Glosat. Double columns of 34 lines. Red and blue capital
letters at head of each epistle.
On fly-leaf, in red capitals :
LIBER MAORI ALUREDI.
(MS. 26, at Jesus College, Oxford, and 82 at All Souls, have also
this inscription.) The only Alured in the Hereford records
is John Alured, chaplain to Bishop Giles de Braose (1200-
1219).
