Strongly rebound recently. Double columns of 48 lines, with
good ornament, and, on fol. 1, title elaborately illuminated
in red, blue and gold. Near the end of the book are six
curious coloured drawings of the musical instruments of
the Bible.
On the first fly-leaf :—
Liber fratris [erasure] fratrum predicatorum, post ejus
vitam pertineus ad conventum ejusdem ordinis
Ivelcestr’, de perquisite reverendi partris, fratris
Willelmi de Ivelcestr’, sacre sciencie professoris,
cujus anime etc.
At the end of the book :—■

lines. Then text in centre, 16 or 17 lines to the page, and
notes on both margins and between the lines. Very fine
initials, in unusual shades of red, blue and green, with gold.
