On the last fly-leaf is a cautio, defaced and all but illegible :

[The name Rede occurs frequently in the Hereford
Registers of the 14th and 15th Centuries : but I can
find no Lewis.]

columns of 55 lines, with notes all round. Quite good orna-
ment.
At bottom of fol. 1 is a curious device : then :
Decretum Guillielmi de Balina abbatis M per libras
sex imperiales.
