Min-hetep, son of Jl5^3^^ Bethu. The figure

is represented squatting, with the arms crossed over

the knees, and the name of the ^jt^o ^

"divine wife Ra-neferu,* living," is incised upon
the wrists. Down the front of the legs are one
vertical and seven horizontal lines of hieroglyphs
giving the Dc hetep set en formula to Mut, " that she
may give all that appears upon her altar and all
fine breads and delicacies " for the benefit of the Ka
of Minhetep :—■

* The Princess Ra-neferu was the eldest daughter of Thoth-
mes II. and Hatshepsut. She must have died young, before the
adolescence of Thothmes III. Her portrait at Deir el Bahari has
been recently destroyed, but a drawing of it was made by Cham-
pollion in 1828, and published by him in his ' Monuments.'
