and a " look-out." The name of the vessel is
destroyed and only a fragmentary list of the cargo
is preserved sculptured above the boat. This
inscription runs :—■

The upper part of a second row of ships is seen
below this vessel. The inscription naming the boat
and detailing its size alone remains :—
" The boat of the (?) and of the Hegatu Ua neb,
length 45 cubits, breadth .... cubits."
Block IV.—From the same scene. Remains of
two vessels are preserved together with very muti-
lated lists of their cargoes ; the whole stone indeed
has been very much damaged by salt and consequent
flaking.
Block V.—On this mutilated block is seen the
prow of one of the ships of the expedition approach-
ing what seems to be the quay at Karnak.
