In the upper compartment of Cases 31-37, are jugs and
vases; in the lower compartment saucepans and cooking
implements.

On the top shelf of Case 36 is a hydria ; the handle at its
lower attachment terminates in a group of Cupid and
Pysche in relief, chased. Probably Greek work of a late
period. Height I ft. 4 in. From a tomb, island of Telos.

Cases 38-39 contain figures of Silenus, Satyrs, Pan.

Aegipan standing on a rock. Height 9§ in.

Another. Height 2f in. R. P. K.

The Arcadian Pan seated; his left elbow rests on a
round disk, on which is a goat in relief. Height 3J in. H.

Cases 40, 41 contain figures of Hercules and Mercury.
Among these may be noticed : —

Part of a group of Hercules subduing horses of Diomedes.

Hercules, holding in his left hand apples from garden

In the upper compartment of Cases 38-41 are small
vases; in the lower compartment buckles, chains, handles
of vases.

Cases 42, 43, contain figures of heroes, Atys, Isis, Har-
pocrates, Typhon. Among these may be noticed: —

A head of Polyphemus. Height 2^ in. Cilicia. Presented
