• See Mittheilungen, Inst. Athen. iv. 250, where an equally ill preserved
specimen is engraved and described as a diademed head. On the B.M.
specimen the head seems to be bound with a laurel-wreath upon a band.
This coin was found on the site of Oropus. (Of. Cadalvene, Recueil, p. 168.)
f It is rather doubtful whether this coin belongs to Oropus in Attica.
