In honour of some person who had been priest
of Artemis and a public benefactor. We may con-
jecture that the statue to Zeus Olympios was erected
in the reign of Hadrian, whom it was the fashion
; width 1 ft. 5 in. Discovered by Mr. Wood; unpublished.

πη-χυν ?.στρατ ?]ηγή-

to style ‘Olympios:’ see on No. di. The epithet
έννεα[πηχυς, if correctly restored, would indicate a
statue of twice the size of life.

Apparently an honorary inscription to a relative
of Lab. Amcenus; perhaps his daughter had been
a priestess. This Amoenus appears to be the same
person who is named in No. cccclxxxii ante b, line 5
a document probably of a. d. 160-1. His praenomen
is either 7"(iToy) or /"(aioy).
