the head bent back. Attached to the hind quarters is a
loop ornamented with bead and reel pattern, and pierced

No. 22. Pendant in the form of a lion couching. The
mane is represented by zigzag lines. Attached to the
hind quarters is a loop ornamented with bead and reel,
and pierced for suspension. Length, 2+ in.
No. 23. Pendant in the form of a naked male figure,
broken off above the knees. The hair is waved, and falls in
long parallel tresses over the shoulders ; the shoulders are
broad and square ; the Avaist narrow ; the arms close to
the sides, with clenched fists; the face is beardless; the
outer corners of the eyes highest; the whole type is
jather Egyptian ; on the head is a loop ornamented with
bead and reel, and pierced for suspension. Height, 2T^- in.
No. 24. Pendant in the form of a man-headed bull,
couching; the head bent back towards the tail ; the horns
are small; the beard is pointed ; the legs are carved in relief
at the back. The hind-quarter terminates in a loop orna-
mented with bead and reel, and is pierced for suspension as
an amulet.
No. 25. Pendant in form of female mask; hair waved
over the forehead, and surmounted by a stepliane. In bad
condition. The crown pierced for suspension. Height,
