675. Calcareous stone. . Height, 2 feet 7 inches. From the ruins of a temple of
Apollo Hylates, at Curium.

Statuette, wearing a Phrygian cap, with lapels falling on the shoulders. Short
tunic, with long sleeves, and diploidion girt at the waist by a knotted band, with ends
hanging in front. On the right wrist a bracelet. The left arm is broken above the
elbow. A prop on the left hip shows the position of the forearm. The stone from
which the statue is made belongs to the Amathus locality, being of a rougher grain
than the calcareous stone of Golgoi.

676. Calcareous stone. Height, 2 feet 10 inches. From the ruins of the temple
(Golgoi).

Female figure, wearing a chiton reaching to the feet, and with short sleeves.
Round the hips is wrapped a himation. She is engaged in playing on a lyre, held in
front of the body. Bracelets on the wrists; signet ring on the third finger of the left
hand. The right foot, with shoe, appears below it. Head, the left shoulder, and portion
of the back wanting. The surface is only slightly damaged.
