The Collection contains ninety-four specimens of silver bracelet or armlet, most of which
are quite perfect, barring corrosion.
1. Bracelet. Silver. Grey tints. Diameter 27/% inches. Found at Curium.
Surface is corroded, but one end shows that the original decoration was a lion's head. The
other end indicates that the head was made hollow and slipped on.
2. Bracelets, Five corroded together. Silver. Grey. Diameter of bracelets about 2 5/g
inches. Found at Curium
The finding of so many together seem to prove that they were votive offerings.
3. Bracelet. Silver. Dark grey. Diameter 3 inches. Found at Curium.
One of a pair, but spread a little more than its mate. Ends are decorated with ram's
heads.
4. Armlet. Silver. Grey and green. Diameter 2>Yk inches. Found at Curium.
A spiral, containing almost two and a half complete turns. One end is corroded away, and
the other is drawn down to a point.
5. Armlet. Silver. Grey and green. Diameter 3^ inches. Found at Curium.
Made of a large and heavy wire, l/% of an inch in diameter. The ends lap about-21/2
inches.
6. Bracelet. Silver. Grey and green. Diameter 25/£ inches. Found at Curium.
Formed of three wires soldered side by side. The ends are cut square off, and are in close
contact.
7. Armlet. Silver. Light grey. Diameter 4^ inches. Found at Curium.
Very large and heavy. Ends decorated with serpents' heads, which are a little over half an
inch apart.
