No.1372".?.- Whereas the Commissioners of the Puri Municipality
have ordered that a Survey be made of all roads and lands
in that Municipality and the provisions of the Calcutta Survey
Act, 1887 (Bengal Act I of 1887 ) consequently apply to that
Municipality by virtue of section 223A of the Bengal Municipal
Act, 1384 (Bengal Act III of 1834):
And where as it is expendient that certain appointments
should be made under the said Calcutta Survey Act, 1887, for
the purpose of the said survey:
Now therefore the Lieutenant -Governor in Council
is pleased-
(1) in exercise of the newer conferred by section 3
of the Calcutta Survey Act, 1387, to appoint Mr. F.H. Alderson
and Babu Hindi Charan to be respectively the Superintendent
and Assistant Superintendent of the said survey; and
(2) in exercise of the power conferred by section 11
of the same act, t.-> appo&nt Babu Barendra Krishna Das Adhikari,
Deputy Collector, to be the authority to whom appeals referred
to in that section shall lie.
2.Notification No. 3471-M., dated the 18th March, 1918
is cancelled .
