I. WHEREAS, under Section IV. Regulation VI. 1808, a commission
was constituted for the superintendence of the settlement of the district
of Cuttack, including the pergunnah of Puttaspore and its dependencies;
and whereas the objects for which that arrangement was adopted have
been accomplished, the following rules have been enacted, to be in force
from and after the 1st March, 1810, corresponding with the 19th Phaugun,
1216, Bengal era; the 10th Phaugun, 1217, Fussily; the 20th Phaugun,
1217, Willaity; the 11th Phaugun, 1866, Sumbut; and the 24th Mohur-
rum, 1225, Higeree.
II. The olhce of commissioner in Cuttack shall be abolished from and
after the 1st March, 1810, corresponding with the 19 th Phaugun, 1216,
Bengal era; the 10th Phaugun, 1217, Fussily; the 20th Phaugun, 1217,
Willaity; the 11th Phaugun, 1866, Sumbut; and the 24th Mohurrum,
1225, Higeree.
III. All the duties, powers, and authority hitherto vested in the com-
missioner in Cuttack, in that district and in the pergunnah of Puttaspore
and its dependencies, shall be transferred, from the date specified in the
preceding section, to the Board of Revenue.
