The Dioskouroi as Stars 765

Dionysios Skytobrachion (s. ii B.C.)1, relates that, when the Argo-
nauts were overtaken by a terrible storm, Orpheus prayed to the
gods of Samothrace, that straightway the wind ceased, and that,
