to us. The small marble Zeus in the Musee Lapidaire at Lyons2,

elbow, right lower arm with elbow, nose, neck with some locks of hair, front of right foot,
parts of throne-back. Height (with base): o-62m. On the base is AIIOAAON (Corp. inscr.
Gr. iii no. 6139), presumably a modern inscription (O. Benndorf lot. cit.), since the simi-
larity of marble, style, and proportions makes it practically certain that the bearded head
belongs to the body of the work.
