Os the Muscles
that part of ^.^Orbicularis Palpebrarum,
which adheres to the Trochlea, might
occasion the Miftake, which I rather
remark, becaufe I find others upon
Mullinetes Authority, without stridi
enquiry into the Matter, have fallen
into the same Error.

CHAP. IX.
Of the Muscles os the Nose.
THe Nosc is altogether immova-
ble, except in its Lower Gristly
parts, which are not improperly cal-
led AU or Tinn£, these by their ap-
proach or Recels, do Constringe, or
~%DM~usc D^ate> tne Nostrils. Galen assigns
cap.iii,' hut One Pair of Muscles to them, to
which Jacobus Beringarius of Carpm in
his Commentary on Mindtnus adds
another, Arising from the extremities
of the Bones of the Nose, and in-
serted to the Inside of the AU\ where-
in, ii. in he is followed by Vesalius. Co*
^xiii. lumbus pretends thofe described by
n*tom." Galen belong to the Upper Lip, ana
Lib. v. that Those placed in the inside of the
c^. iv. ]st0£ (abore mentioned) are intirely
