Palmaris in the Palm of the Hand.
It Arises Flessiy from the Superior and
Back-part of the outermost Tubercle
of the Lower Appendage of the Thigh-
bone (42) immediately under the Ex- f^ xviii
ternal Beginning of the Former
Muscle, and Desending Obliquely
between it and the Following, soon
becomes a Thin Fiat Tendon, which
palling out from between Their Flelhy
Bellies descends internally laterally,
by their great Tendon ; and march-
ing over the Os Gakts (49), expands nsxvuL
it self on the Soal of the Foot, where
it firmly adheres to the Flelhy Body
of the Musculus Flexor Digitorum Per-
sorates, and is Inserred on both sides
the first Internode of each lesser Toe.
