Foot in Walking. Its Origination is
Fielhy from the Lower part of the Su-
perior Appendage of the Tibia (5o)%Xvii°
between its Prominence, where the
great Tendon of all the Extending
Muscles of the Leg is Inferted, and
the Origination of the Musculm Ex-
tensor Magna* Bigitorum Pedis : it also
continues a Disgregated Flelhy Ori-
gination for near two Thirds of the
Sllperior part of the (aid Tibia Exter-
nally lateral next the Fibula
which Composmg a Flessiy Belly let-
£ba$ it self in Half its Progress, and
growing into a Strong and iomewhat
Round Tendon desending obliquely
oyer the Inferior Part of the said Tibia,
and under the Annular Ligament, is
Inserred to the inside of the Os * Lu- * f. xviil.
