No. 15 of the old arrangement, No. 6 of Brond-
sted. A Centaur and -an Athenian engaged in fight:
the victory undecided. In Carrey's time the figure of
the Athenian was perfect: the upper half only is
now remaining: a drapery of considerable depth is
suspended from the left shoulder. See Stuart,
vol. iv. chap. iv. pi. xxx., in whose time portions of
the right arms of both figures were left.
