Bom at Rodatycz near Grodek Jagiellonski in 1876 — Died in Cracow in 1949
From 1896 to 1901 he was a student of Florian Cynk’s and Jacek Malczewski’s in the Cracow
School (future Academy) of Fine Arts; he also followed the instructions of Leon Wyczotkowski and
Jan Stanislawski.
Apart from easel painting he occupied himself with graphics, wall-painting, stained - glass window
designing and interior decoration.

Andrzej PRONASZKO SK
Bom at Derepczyn near Jampol in 1888 — Died in Warsaw in 1961
He was Zbigniew’s brother. In 1906 he attended the Industrial School in Cracow and in the period
1909 -1910 the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts as a student of Leon Wyczolkowski’s. Later he left
for Munich and Paris. He co - founded the group of the Polish Expressionists, later called Formists.
Since 1927 he was linked to the group “Praesens”.
He acted as an academic teacher in the State Higher School of Drama in Warsaw, as well as
a painter and scenographer.
