Teresa TYSZKIEWICZ SK
Cracow 1906 - Eodz 1992
She studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of Feiicjan Szczqsny Kowarski
(diploma in 1934). in the inter-war period she was cioseiy iinked to the circle of the Parisian
Committee (KP), after the war she collaborated with the Varsovian Club of Young Artists and
Scientists and with the Gallery "Krzywe Koio". She was a teacher in the State College of Plastic
Arts in Eodz; she participated, a. o., in the 1st Exhibition of Modern Art in Cracow in 1948.
A painter, drawer, graphic artist, illustrator of books for children, and a textile designer, related to
the Eodz milieu. In the 1940s she practised post-cubist painting, while in the 1950s and 1960s -
the in/orme/ painting and the painting of matter and gesture.
