This beautiful Ewer, belonging to a Plateau, or Basin of similar materials, is remarkable for its
noble antique form. The embossed heads, and other ornaments are of very admirable workmanship; and
the handle, especially, deserves attention for the elegance of its design, and its careful execution. All
attempts, however, to discover the name of the artist, have proved unsuccessful.
