Cup in Rock Crystal, in the shape of a Shell.

Height 18^ in. Diameter lly^ in.

This imposing and valuable specimen, which is of original design, represents a dolphin, bearing
on its head a scalloped flat cup in the shape of a shell, with its tail in the air so as to form a sort of
handle to the vessel. The ornaments engraved upon the cup are insignificant. The foot, which is of an
hexagonal form, is in gilt filagree work set with lapis lazuli.
