being taken by the French Cruisers.. •
For near 1; Months paft the Coalr be-
tween M;ub-a.s and point Paimiras has
been infetted by French Privateers who
have (Unmolcfted) reigned Triumphant
to the great impediment of Trade and
which impediment it was hoped would
be removed when our Englifh Fleet ar-
rived cn the Coaft; but the A--■—
feems deaf to every reaionable complaint
of this kind, as if he was dererrnintd
that we fliould Iiavc reafan to lay th.-it.-
the whole of Ids conduct: was of a Pitcc '

However if he fo barefacedly neglects
this part of his duty, it is .to be hoped
that the G-1 here and at Madras will
