FABLE.

A Treaty of Amity and good Neigh*
bourhood was once (truck up be-
tween the Eagle and the Fox. Notwith-
standing which one day when the Fox
was abroad a Foraging, the Eagle fell
into her Quarters, and carried away a
whole Litter of her Cubs at a fwoop.—*
The Fox returned time enough to fee
the Eagle on the Wing, with the Prey
in her Foot, and to fend many a heavy

peofion of the 39th Bye Law, which
Ordains.
