THE EXODUS PAPYRI.

As a scribe how great am I.

We cannot enumerate the marching towards [gap],

.............daily,

With their folk for supplying cooked fish,1

For supplying festivities.

In this place we see it sufficient for the day,

[gap] brought away for the agents

Who were [gap] in the temple of Nebt-Hotep;

[ ] in corn and cake sufficient for the day.

Where we see the head astrologer had carried off

the two women,
From the two defences
Which he had dug in front.

On the last day of Mechir let my Lord send to the

head astrologer,
Let him get the two female () whom I carried off;
Let us order rations for the head astrologer,
[gaps].

The scribe of the head of finance in the great double

house of the palace,
For the great man of the edict house to send to the

four races.
Says the [gap] of the oracle,
In his fortress of Tu [.. ],

My Lord has granted that the slaves be carried off,
Who were left in the temple of Nebt-Hotep.
Let them return.
Let the lists remain. There is no number in my

hand.
This comes to give an account to my Lord.
