I should very much like to know if you have,with your 15-inch

photographic instruments which ^understand are now in working

order,taken photographs of ths Pleiades and of the extensive
nebulosity surrounding the group,If you have already done so,
would you kindly send me a contact-copy on glass of the original
negatives and I will remit to you the fees you may require ft-*
discharge of my application.
I would also ask you if you have verified,with your larger
instruments,the extensive nebulosity on each of the following
areas which are numbered: 419-425-^239 in the Index Catalogue
by Dr.DReyer. t
