at the Ehrich Galleries, New York, in Jan. 1915. The Comte’s portrait measures
32J x 24I. Black cloak over red jacket. Auburn hair ; he holds a guitar, on which
is the artist’s signature. The Comtesse’s portrait measures 32 x 24^. She wears a
draped white chemisette, and orange-red mantle; a yellow scarf, with a wreath of
roses on her head. Holds a goblet. Signed and dated (1793) in left-hand corner.
