Extremely scarce and very important Periodical, of the greatest value for the
history of early railway building and steam locomotion in the United States.
The Journal was pubiished in 4 to except during the second period from
1838 u. 44, when it was issued in 8 vo. Complete sets of this periodical have
not been in the market for many years, and are almost unprocurable: The
