An important map. based on that of Allard but following in the presentment of
Pennsylvania the second edition of Dancker’s map. The map is crowded with inscrip-
tions as regards Indian tribes and Settlements and depicts many specimens of the
fauna and two tynes of Settlement. Of special interest in the large view of New York
(7 : 37 cm) illustrating the harbour, the fortifications etc. and having 19 references below.
The fold is mended, but otherwise the map well preserved.
