Group ii. The specimens herein
bring to the mind of the designer the delicacy of
Nature’s summer handiwork. It is the halting be-
tween the bulbous growth of spring and the sturdy
woody growth of autumn. The art-worker cannot
afford to neglect the importance of this period of
bloom nor can he have it too forcibly impressed
upon the mind for winter work.
