Charles D. Sigsbee
of
Prof. C. A. Ewald
Rear-Admiral, U. S. Navy,
writes:
“After a thorough trial of
Sanatogen, I am convinced of
its merits as a food and tonic.
Its beneficial effects are be-
yond doubt.’’
of Berlin University, doctor
honoris causa University of
Maryland, states in his con-
tribution on “Typhus ab-
dominalis
“I can say that I have used
Sanatogen in a great number
of cases (that is, in those dis-
turbances of metabolism which
were mainly of a nervous or
neurasthenic origin), and have
obtained excellent results.”
Sanatogen recognizes the true nature of these conditions and
scientifically meets them. Sanatogen carries to these nerves and
tissues the tonic food demanded by their exhausted state—the
particular natural nourishment quickly and eagerly assimilated
by the starved centres. The system rejoices in getting the
specific food it has needed, and an aroused and sustained vitality
is shown in the return of new power, new buoyancy, new
courage and efficiency.
Lady Henry Somerset
The prominentsocial reform
advocate, writes:
“Sanatogenundoubtedly re-
stores sleep, invigorates the
nerves and braces the patient
to health. I have watched its
effect on people whose ner-
vous systems have been en-
tirely undermined, and 1 have
proved Sanatogen to be most
valuable.”
The warning appears in sleeplessness, in
loss of appetite, disturbed digestion,
weakened powers of body and mind, in
“low spirits” that are all too seldom at-
tributed to their actual cause—impover-
ishment of nerves and tissues.
If you feel the need of bodily renewal, consider seriously the re-
markable fact that 15,000 practising physicians have enthusi-
astically endorsed the reconstructive, rejuvenating power
Sanatogen.
Prof. Thomas B. Stillman,
M.S., Ph.D.
the well - known research
chemist of Stevens’ Insti-
tute, writes:
‘ ’The chemical union of the
constituents of Sanatogen is a
true one, representative of the
highest skill in the formation
of a product containing phos-
phorus in the organic phos-
phate condition, and so com-
bined that digestion and
assimilation of Sanatogen are
rendered complete with the
greatest ease.”

BOOK REVIEWS
‘‘The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam,”
illustrated with drawings by Isabel Hawx-
hurst Hall. (Alice Harriman Co., New
York.) Cloth, $3.50 net.
An unusually fine edition of this well
known work. The impressionistic illus-
trations throughout the book are very
beautiful, and will no doubt attract atten-
tion in art circles, not only for their merit
but for the fact that they were drawn by
Miss Isabel Hawkhurst Hall when she was
only sixteen years of age. Miss Hall
comes from a family of which every mem-
ber has shown artistic talent, and she her-
self has been drawing since she was three
years old. Some of these early drawings,
crude as they were, showed much latent
talent, now fulfilled.
