The School will become an integral
part of the Commonwealth Art Colony
at Boothbay Harbor, Maine, with Frank
Alvah Parsons as director of the depart-
ment of education. Boothbay Harbor
is too well known to need comment. One
of the most varied and charming of the
many beautiful harbors on the Maine
coast, it is healthful, shady, hilly, cool
and delightfully co-operative.
It is the aim of the school to offer
courses in painting, pencil drawing,
illustration, interior decoration, costume
design, commercial advertising and all of
the industrial crafts, and not only to give
