Manchester. — The eminent
services rendered by Sir Philip
Magnus to the cause of technical
education in this country were
recently signalised by the presentation tO’
him of an illuminated address from the
Association of Technical Institutions, by
whom the preparation of the address was
entrusted to Mr. Henry Cadness, Second
Master of the Manchester Municipal School
of Art in Cavendish Street, All Saints, and
as the accompanying illustrations show, the-
work has been carried out in a manner worthy
of the occasion. The design of the address.
