I. 1. The hand is a very fine one : possibly two scribes have been
employed (cf. 54 a with 54 b}.
Initials are plain. Occasionally one is filled with colour,
especially in Lib. in.
The long “s” is most commonly used.
There has been an inscription at top of f. 1.

Interlinear corrections in a small Anglo-Saxon hand occur.

a variant with ‘ alia editio habet.’
