Cent, xii, mainly in a small and rather sloping hand. The last
quire in a larger upright hand, both very good.

From Lanthony: on ii b in a xivth cent, hand is :
Liber Lanthonie iuxta Gloucestr. qui eum alienauerit anathema
sit. Continentia huius uol. precianus magnus et precianus de con-
struccione.
No. 372 in the Catalogue : Precianus magnus et Free, de constr.
in uno uol.
On \.b, iia (beginning on +) is a rhyming poem written as
prose in a clear xiith-cent. hand :
In aspectam nube tectam. sero arthon intuens. dum mirarer
et testarer. nubes esse renuens. Ecce quedam fulsit Ledam
sese uocans nomine, nube lata terris data credo deum numine.
Forma cuius mundi huius nil ualere gloriam. arguebat et
premebat nostrarum superbiam. Quam diuinis flauus crinis
linitus odoribus decorabat et flagrabat citra aromatibus.
She speaks of her children Castor, Pollux and Helen and of a
certain puella nigella called Albors. At the end the poet
(a tiresome writer) gains her love:
